Finance Sub-Committee
The Finance
Sub-Committee oversees the finances of the Research
Institute and reports annually to the CHEO Research
Institute Board, on the financial status of the
Institute. This Sub-Committee recommends financial policies
to the Research Institute leadership, recommends allocation
of intra-mural funds within the established policies of the
Research Institute as accepted by the Board. They track
expenditures on internal funds. This Sub-Committee maintains
accounting practices of the Research Institute. They review
the status of Research Institute accounts regarding
adherence to grant budgets.
This Sub-Committee also advises the Chief Executive Officer
and Program Directors on the availability of funds for new
initiatives. They work together with the Research Institute
Leadership towards the development of new financial
policies.
