CHEO REB Formal Complaints Process

The REB is committed to dealing with complaints and concerns in a way that preserves its independence and honours the Board’s commitment to transparency and accountability.  In order to appropriately assess and respond to complaints, a REB complaints panel will be assembled.  The panel is responsible for determining the validity of the complaint, investigating the complaint, and making a final determination on any corrective action in response to the complaint.  Complaints that do not fall within the scope of this policy will be diverted to the appropriate organizational official after initial consideration by the complaints panel.
