CEO & Scientific Director, CHEO Research Institute Vice President, Research, CHEO - Reporting to and supporting the Research Institute (RI) Board of Directors, the CEO & Scientific Director of the CHEO Research Institute is supported by RI Program Directors and a team of Scientists responsible for specific research portfolios within the RI, as well as the RI’s operations team that manages the performance of the RI’s financial, human and operational resources. CHEO’s Vice President, Research is a key member of CHEO’s executive team and reports to CHEO’s President & CEO, ensuring the RI’s strategic alignment with the Hospital’s strategy, and he/she actively participates in all hospital-wide matters, including strategy, general operations, finances, quality, risk management, performance management, human resources, information technology, etc.

RI-18-045 - Methodologist IIThe Methodologist II works to ensure methodological rigour in research studies to answer questions about maternal-child health using data held at BORN Ontario, the province’s prescribed registry.  He/she will have the opportunity to work with
researchers and clinicians locally at BORN, CHEO and across the province.  He/she will contribute to advancing health outcomes for mothers and children in Ontario through surveillance, research and project evaluation.

RI-18-047- PIOU Research CoordinatorThe Research Coordinator will be the point of connection between study participants and the research team in a study called « Optimizing the Management of Pain and Irritability in Children with Severe Neurologcial Impairments » - the PIOU study. The Research Coordinator performs the day-to day activities involved in the conduct of research including, but not limited to the creation and maintenance of research files according to study guidelines, the collection and recording of research information and the maintenance of databases. This position will be working with the Palliative Care Team.
