Current Research:
Dr. Jimenz-Rivera’s research is focused on liver disease; specifically, the prevalence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in obese children, and the identification of risk factors for the occurrence of this condition. Another ongoing study relates to incidence and prevalence of autoimmune hepatitis in childhood across Canada. This study aims to describe clinical presentation and management of this condition and outcomes.
