Current Research:
Dr Gardin’s research interests lie in the area of developing a Risk Calculator to Predict Sudden Cardiac Death in Children with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. In addition, she is involved in a study that is investigating the physical activity behaviors and fitness levels of pediatric cardiomyopathy patients.
Research Team:
Dr. Letizia Gardin is an academic Pediatric Cardiologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa. She attended Dalhousie University Medical School followed by a Pediatrics Residency at the University of Manitoba. After this, she went to McGill University for subspecialty training in Pediatric Cardiology (Montreal Children’s Hospital) and a further year of subspecialization at Harvard University (Children’s Hospital Boston).
