Current Research:
Dr. Harman has researched the use of topical LET of tissue adhesives in the Emergency Department and is currently site investigator on a project looking at the treatment of Pneumonia.
Research Team:
Dr. Stuart Harman completed his fellowship training at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in 2011, following a four-year residency in pediatrics at the University of Western Ontario's London Health Sciences Centre. In 2011, he joined the Division of Emergency Medicine at CHEO and was cross-appointed to the Department of Emergency Medicine. While primarily a clinician-teacher, Dr. Harman's research involves studying wound care and pain prevention in children. He also plays a role in simulation-based teaching across all levels of trainees and is part of several quality improvement initiatives overseen by the Emergency Department's Partnership Council.
