Current Research:
Dr Shefrin’s interest in simulation and point of care ultrasound is reflected in his involvement as the Division Lead for CHEO’s Point of Care Ultrasound Program and as a Simulation Educator with CHEO’s outreach program.
Dr. Shefrin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Ottawa. He specializes in point of care ultrasound in the Emergency department, medical simulation and procedural skills training. He has published in a wide range of areas including asthma, simulation training, and patient satisfaction.
