Current Research:
Dr. Carsen's current research includes studies looking at the developing and adolescent hip, fractures and bone health, as well as sports medicine and joint preservation.
Dr. Carsen is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at CHEO, a Clinical Investigator at the CHEO Research Institute, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Ottawa. His clinical and research interests focus in particular on fracture care, hip joint preservation, and pediatric and adolescent sports medicine and arthroscopy.
