  • Examining barriers and thresholds to referral for antenatal assessment by Pediatric Urology after detection of antenatal hydronephrosis (using BORN data).
  • Randomized controlled trial on biofeedback in children with dysfunctional elimination syndrome with recurrent UTIs and urinary incontinence.
  • Assessment of the usefulness of Urodynamics as an aid in the decision making process for neurosurgery in infants with cutaneous stigmata of tethered cord.
  • Study on urinary infection, bacterial prevalence and resistance profile in patients performing intermittent catheterization for neurogenic bladder.

Research Team:

Dr. Luis Guerra is a specialist in Pediatric Urology, with a particular interest in neurogenic bladder and uro-neurology. He holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Ottawa, with skills in systematic reviews and clinical trial methodology.
