Application of statistical methods in the design and analysis of clinical and epidemiological studies.
Since the completion (in 2000) of his PhD thesis on meta-analysis involving nonlinear models, Dr. Barrowman has contributed his biostatistical expertise to numerous research studies in a wide variety of health-related fields. He has also served as President of the Statistical Society of Ottawa and Statistical Consultant for the Canadian Medical Association Journal.
