CIHR Grants
Submission and Administration of CIHR Grants
In 1998 we were pleased to announce that an agreement between
the University of Ottawa and the CHEO Research Institute had
been implemented authorizing the Children’s Hospital
of Eastern Ontario Research Institute to submit and administer
CIHR Grants. This agreement had been approved by the Medical
Research Council (MRC) in 1998.
All new Applications must be signed by the Director of the
CHEO Research Institute, Dr. Alex MacKenzie and a copy of
all Grant Registrations/Applications forwarded to CIHR must
be submitted to the CHEO Research Institute Administration
Office.
Information is available to all investigators on the Internet
at: http://www.cihr.ca.

CHEO RI / CIHR Grant Submission Deadline
- Internal Review Process
We will be instituting a process for internal review of CIHR
grants prior to submission to CIHR. For this process, we need
3 weeks prior to the CIHR Deadlines.
